Richard Kranzin was born in 1990 in Berlin, where he still lives and works.
After working as a fashion model in his early 20s, he committed to filmmaking and photography. In 2017, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Film. After working for several German and international movie and TV productions, he made his TV directing debut in 2025 for the German youth series “Echt Friends”, broadcast on KiKa and ZDFtivi.

His personal photography, exhibitions, and books about vulnerability in masculinity form the foundation for his own artistic journey, a path enriched by his latest self-published book, INTERIOR (2025). He has been part of the international queer collective BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! since 2019, alongside other influential artists.
